Can Augmentin And Mucolite Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Hi, Nirija Mam, Iam in treatment of pregnancy, Still Iam not pregnant. My D13 scanning shows DF and we have contacted the ovulation dates. So I expect it happened in this month. I have started having nasal congestion and breathing issues for the past 10 days. My ENT prescribed Mucolite 30g for 1 week and told me to take Augmentin 625mg. Will these tablets cause harm to my pregnancy? Iam very tensed. Please give me the right direction. Thanks

Hi, I think you can take these medicines. These are not harmful to the baby. Do a pregnancy test if your periods get delayed. If positive, consult your doctor. If negative, wait for the period. You can try ovulation induction with timed intercourse for 3 to 6 cycles. If it doesn't work, you can go for IUI. Hope it helps.
