Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain as you have got filling in the tooth and you are still in pain there is a possibility that the filling in tooth is done too deep and the nerves within the tooth have opened up leading to
nerve irritation, inflammation and pain..
As you are advised to take
Amoxicillin and
Ibuprofen, it can be taken together as there is no harm in taking it together due to no severe drug interactions..
The other thing that I would like to tell you is that as you have so much of pain the first thing that you should get done is to get an x ray of tooth done and in case if there is nerve exposure the filling has to be removed under local anaesthesia and
Root Canal Treatment has to be done that will be followed by filling and capping of the tooth atleast 2 weeks after the root canal treatment..
As of now continue taking Amoxicillin and Ibuprofen and in case if still pain does not relieve you can take higher painkillers like Tramadol or
Ketorolac..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
