Can Amoxicilin Usage Have Any Severe Side Effects Like Headache?
Doctor prescribed amoxicilin 500mg to my husband due to ulcer in throat , he has taken it for 4 days- and another 3 days are left- but he is suffering from severe headache from yesterday - blood pressure is 138/95 - could you please tell us whats better for him should we ask doctor to change antibiotic or stick with it and have aspirin for headache- or we have also amoxicilin 250 mg at home , can he take 250mg one another 3 days instead of 500mg- thanks for your help-

hi,
amoxicillin does not cause headache,
do not take 250mg amox as it will be insufficient.
take a apin killer like tylenol for the headache.
