Can Amlodipine And Diltiazem Be Taken Together?
My cardiologist just perscribed 5mg daily of Amlodipine for my high blood pressure. I currently take 40 mg of a Atorvastatin each day and 180 mg of Diltiazem twice daily. He knows about the Diltiazem (as well as my other perscriptions....50 mg Flecanide twice daily) but says take it (Amlodipine) along with all my other stuff and monitor my blood pressure every day for a month and get back to him. From what I read on line I m worried about interactions between Amlodipine and Diltiazem. Your opinion.

amlodipine was prescribed for high bp ...you may ne having irregular heart beat for which you are being prescribed flecainamide ...yes you can take both of these
