Hi, i have been suffering from amblyopia since by childhood. I am suggested to have the surgery when i grow up. i am now 24. The sight is very less in my right eye while my left eye is almost fine. Is it a mandate to have the surgery done or can it be treated with any kind of medication or using glasses.
It could have been treated annd squint surgery with orthoptic treatment before your 9years of age. you have lost binocularity ,now any surgery will be cosmetic twill not cure amblyopia.
