Can 70% Artery Blockage Be Managed With Medications And Life Style Correction?
My wife had a severe chest pain last week. She was immediately attended by doctor and was kept under observation in ICCU for 4 days. She was administered ELXIM injection . Now she is diagonised to be having one artery 70% blocked . Attending doctors suggeste that stent is not must and it can be managed by medicines and proper healthcare. Can you please advise what to do under the circumstances.

I have gone through your question. As your wife was given Elaxim injection
she probably had acute MI (heart attack). She needs to take medicines
regularly (no doubt) and probably stenting too. she stands a risk of having
another heart attack in the next one year. She needs to be very careful
and very compliant with medicines for the next one year .
