Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Nitrates are a common therapeutic option for relieving ischemic cardiac pain. They may exacerbate hypotension in susceptible persons, so their use should be monitored cautiously. Facing your clinical scenario, it is advisable to perform a medical check up to your cardiologist, for a differential diagnosis of those complains: Are those caused by nitrates or by the primary ischemic heart disease??

Hope to have been helpful. Greetings!
