Hi, Welcome to HCM, After going through your history, calf pain if it was due to deficiency of electrolytes like sodium and potassium, it can be easily replenished with oral rehydration fluid and diet. It is widely available as a nutritional supplement. Those who are non vegetarian in eating habit get it from diet. If you are all right it can be stopped after consulting your treating doctor. Please take care of diet and take adequate water intake. If it is not necessary for you do not continue to take without advice of your Physician. Please take care. Good Luck. Dr.Akhilesh Dubey M.D.
