Diagnosis is as you have written PRE (posterior reversible encephalopathy) syndrome. The causes rae varied and commonly include high blood pressure, renal filure, electrolyte disturbance etc. The treatment is aimed at correction of the cause. As the name says it is reversible.
However diagnosiscan not be made just on the basis of CT report and clinical correlation has to be done.
good luck.
