Burning Wound On The Hip After A Fall. Treatment? Using Hydrogen Peroxide
I have very bad cut on my right hip from falling off of a four-wheeler. I have put hydrogen peroxide on it to stop it from getting infected.I keep a bandage on it that I change daily.But my problem is that everytime I take a shower when water touches the cut it burns really really bad.I dont put soap anywhere near that area so its not that its just the water thats making it burn

hello welcome to hcm.
it seem that the cut from falling from four wheeler had got infected.
it does not matter if you apply soap or not.even water can cause infection.
avoid water in the hip area and make it a point that it remains dry for most of time.
you have to apply some local antibiotics cream as well as oral antibiotics.
take some pain killer to relief pain.
you can apply betadine ointment over wound 3 -4 times a day .oral antibiotics like tab augmentin 625 mg three times a day for 5 days .you be all right .if not responding in 5 day then go to your family doctor who examine u and tell further management.
