Burning Pain In The Abdomen, Nausea And Bloating. Had Surgery In Stomach For Bowel Obstruction. Enlarged Appendix. Any Advice?

Hi doctor I was admitted to hospital with burning pains in my abdomen on the upper left area,I also have nausea and bloating. I have had previous surgery on my tummy for a bowel obstruction when I was a child and I had a laparotomy 2 yrs ago for an eptopic pregnancy. I had a cat scan today which showed an enlarged appendix and fluid around my intestines. I am a 28 year old female, what could be the cause of my symptoms?

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for calling H.C.M.Forum.
You got admitted in hospital with burning pain in abdomen, on upper left area, nausea, bloating, you had a surgery for intestinal obstruction in the child hood. You also had laparotomy 2 years ago for ectopic pregnancy. Today C.T.scan showing enlarged appendix and fluid around it . You are a 28 year old female.
Burning pain in abdomen in left upper area could be due to gastric irritation due to peptic ulcer, or diet habbits. kidney infection, or infection in upper uriter, or stone in the upper uriter.
Appendicular swelling and fluid around suggest tuberculosis of the iliocaecal junction, or any chronic disease in that area, of course may not be related to the present symptoms.
Intestinal obstruction in the child hood may be related to the chronic infection if not congenital.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
Best regards.
