Burning On The Penis After Using Ky Jelly. Reason?

50 year old male, just engaged in sexual intercourse and used warming ky jelly. Initial contact caused a burning internal sensation to my penis and I went and urinated. After a few minutes, I resumed intercourse and was fine. Have used this many times before without any problems. What could be the cause of this and could it be something more?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

KY Jelly is a topical emolument used to treat and prevent dry skin. You should not use a topical emolument if you are allergic to it. Over and again it will not cure any skin allergy or inflammation. Some times the users has reported burning, stinging, rediness o irritation of the applied part.

Therefore it is safe to discontinue ky jelly and before using another emolument, please do consult a dermatologist.
