Going by the description, it could be comedonal acne
or keratosis pilaris
Comedonal acne is nothing but pimples in lay man's term with increased propensity to have blackheads or whiteheads
Keratosis pilaris is usually associated with dry skin
. It is red or skin colored bump with central black plug in centre.
The diagnosis can only be confirmed by examining the lesions. So a dermatologist's visit is recommended
In the interim she may apply tretinoin
gel in evening as it works in both of these conditions.
