Im just wondering is something I should worry about like an an STD or would it be a cyst or a skin tag? I m really worried so I Hope you can help me out. I did indeed go to a clinic yesterday And had the doctor check he said it doesn t look like anything serious but to keep an eye on it but I need more answers plus I did have a pap sneak back in May of this year which came back negative but im still worried.
Welcome to HCM. Most likely it is inflammation might be due to tight under garment, scratching during deep sleep, improper hygiene and blockage of any hair route. You can apply local cream to prevent infection oral nsaid to subside inflammation. Take proper local care, avoid tight under garment and unprotected sex. Keep in touch with your doctor.
If you have consulted your doctor and he has confirmed that at the moment it doesnt look scary then there is no need to worry.
However, small bumps or skin tags can be due to genital warts. By keeping a close watch, you must observe any changes in appearance or development of itching in the area. This is seen in genital herpes infections. There is no need to get worried otherwise.
Hope this helps
