Bump On Forehead With Clear Pus, No Acne. What Bit Me?
Hi, I have a very large bump on my forehead that raised yesterday and its filled with clear puss. I do not have acne at all and there is no other bumps there. I m sure something bite me, but what? I also have a the same type of bump on my shoulder , but that has been there a couple days and has a small scab on top. I do coach football in a field.
hi there. i note your history with interest. Insect bite reactions can be of various types & manifest differently depending on the venom, sting, type of insect etc. It may even be a condition called 'scrum-pox' that is viral in origin assuming the 'football' you talk of is 'american football' :) Still, it is next to impossible for anyone to pinpoint an insect...more likely than not, it would be some flea or small flying insect as the bite marks are far apart. please do visit your nearest dermatologist for a clearer picture. cheers & good luck
