Bump On Cheek, Redness, Painful. How To Get Rid Of It?

I am a 19 year old male, and I have had a small hard bump on my right but cheek towards the top of the posterior. It started about 6 months ago as a flesh toned hard lump, but just recently it became about an inch wide of redness, lumpy, larger, and very painful. The soliditary feel of it extends past the redness about another half inch all around the redness. What am I experiencing, and how can I get rid of it!?

Thanks for the query.

You might have developed furuncle.

These are deep bacterial infections.

Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
