Bump Near Anus, Puss Excreting, Small Abscess
Had a small bump just inside my anus anterior. I pushed on it a bit a a small amount of puss excreted. The lump was much less noticeable after that. My wife is a nurse practitioner and seem to think it may have been a small abscess . Really no other symptoms. Just a little nervous. Have worked in the OR for years and have seen the perirectal abscesses drained. This is nothing like that. Thoughts. Thanks

I too consider it to be an perirectal abscess.Its very common condition usually presenting with puss filled lesions in the specified area.
Do get your self examined and confirmed of the fact.
There is no other condition except a infected pile which presents this way.
