Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
The first part of the investigation reports a small fibroid which is a noncancerous growth, that mostly remains asymptomatic. Medical and/or
surgical treatment can help in shrinking this. As yours is a very small one, I would request you to visit a doctor for medical therapy (eg.
Danazol, GnRH agonists, IUD's, etc)., surgery would not be required.
The second half of the investigation reports a large uterus which could have been caused by a condition called
adenomyosis. In this, the normal tissue which is present in the endometrium grows elsewhere in the muscular region of the uterus. This will first have to be confirmed, and once confirmed it is usually not treated, as it disappears once
menopause occurs. But if it results in symptoms, then treatment includes anti-inflammatory drugs, hormone supplements, and if severe in women who have completed their families;
hysterectomy is advised.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
