Bugs In The Head After Wearing A Stranger's Hat. Solution?

I put a strangers hat on my head on the 8th January 2012 and very soon felt movement on my head, quickly removed the hat but the damage was done . About 10 minutes later I noticed a 2mm diameter blood clot in centre of my forehead as well as the continuing feeling of bugs moving around on my head. Since then I have been fighting an unknown bug that does not follow symptomes of the usual lice , scabes, ticks , etc. I was very disappointed when I went to a doctor who - after I showed the bites and areas on my scalp where there seemed to be something under the skin and described a cycle that seemed to involve activity all over my body mainly on my head but also with burrowing into my feet and movement between the two over my body, also a stage in the cycle when I would get infestations of tiny featherey feeling movement of many nymphs stage maybe in my ears, nose - said they all looked like scratches and wanted me to take anti depressants. I left disgusted . Since I have been trying both conventional insecticide type treatments and herbal ones, but without having an ID of the bug- I had never seen any - so no idea of the cycle - I have been working in the dark. I have living conditions that are also not conducive to assisting management and elimination of this pest in that I am in debt and work long hours , often 7 days and could not take time to deal to this problem which allowed it to become even worse. But I have had a week s break for xmas NY and have 4 more days before launching into the new years campaign to eliminate my debt which I have used to concentrate on this. I have seen the bug. There are tender pink areas on my scalp which develop into raised pimples often on a row. I shaved hair off the biggest of these tonight There was another smaller one right next to it. I had set up lights and mirrors up to enable me to take a good look and then suddenly the smaller pimple became a white head and as I watched a part of this white part swelled up like a little arm exploded and there was a 2mm brown triangle shaped bug sitting on scalp near ther base of the pimple It didnt moveat first then slowly started moving. I tried to pick it out but thats pretty difficult amonst hair so as I had some ALices solution handy (malathion 1%) I slapped in on the area and hopefully when I have a bath later I may find it in the water. Over the year I have dosed myself with so many insecticides I worry about the long term effects ( I would like to get some i9dea of this issue if you are able) But my main reason for this communication is to see if this rings any bells with you and enable an identification of the bug. In the past year I typically would feel an explosion feeling, wriggling and then of something moving over my scalp - now I have witnessed that what I felt was exactly what had been happening. I bothers me that if I caught this from someones hat then this bug must be out there in our community and everyone with it must be just suffering quietly because of the stygma plus the kind of response I received when I present with something that cant be explained so it gets thrown back onto oneself. Help - I dont want to wash off the malathion - things are quiet while its there but what is this doing to me?
