Bruised Feeling In Chest, Pain On Breathing. Family History Of Congestive Heart Failure. Causes?

for the last few months I have had a bruised like feeling in my chest that comes and goes - today it came and settled in the middle of my chest and when I breathe in or lean forward it hurts worse - what could this be - I am a 54 yr old female overweight but with no heart disease that i know of - however my father died from congestive heart failure ....any suggestions

please have a chest x ray for that , then only we are able to see any gross pathology , and have a routine investigation for whole body that will help you in manner to take care of your whole body.
try to reduce your weight
