I tripped and fell onto a sharp rock and my leg (close to my knee but on my tibial) is brusied and scraped when i push down it really hurts and i can feel a little point not sharp but it wasn t there before, the day i did this it was swollen and i couldn t walk or bend my leg but the day after i was okay to walk but you just cant touch it. is it fractured? i dont want to get an x-ray because of the radiation but i want an idea of what is wrong...

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us,

I have studied your case with diligence.

You may need to do X ray and blood investigation.
There can be possibility of fracture.

If required you may need MRI ankle for soft tissue involvement.
Till time you can use supportive splint or brace.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
