Bruised Brain After An Accident. Unconscious. How Long A Person Can Be In Respirator?

yes. may friend got into an accident and he is bruises on the brain and is on a resporator. he was unconscious when the ambulance came and has been since and he is kept sleeping. what can be done in this situation and how long can a person be in a resporator? And i dont know how long it took the ambulance to get there. Im not english so my language is not the best.

Based on your symptoms, it seems as though your friend has suffered severe brain injury. The answer regarding the outcome can be given, if you can upload his CT scan brain report.
A person can be kept on ventilator for a long period of time. Another aspect is to see whether he had breathing problems leading to hypoxic injury to brain (leading to brain damage).
