Bruise On The Leg, Dark Purple With Thick Red Line. Cause And Remedy?
Hi Dr. um, i m a 17 year old female, and i ve noticed a bruise on my left leg. once i observed it closely, it does not seem like a ordinary bruise; it s dark purple and it seems like it has a some-what thick red line. This has not happened to me before. My mother died of stomach cancer , however, i m not sure if that will affect the situation. What is on my leg and how could i get rid of it?

Your skin condition might be Hypertrophic Lichen planus, An inflammatory skin disease, or others.
I am sure it has no relation with the pathetic incidence of your mother.
But i like to suggest you to visit a dermatologist because
You need a skin biopsy for histopathology, a surgical procedure, to confirm your diagnosis.

have you got any injury in that site or it happened its own?
do some blood tests like CT,BT,aPTT,PT.TLC,DC AND Hb%
its no way related to the stomach cancer in your age
if these tests found abnormal then consult your doctor soon. if report is normal then not to worry
