Bruise On Right Shoulder Blade, Hurts Slightly. Solution?

I have a bruise on the lower left of my right shoulder blade. Just under the shoulder blade towards the center of the back. I think it may have been work-related as I might have hit myself with something but I don t remember. It doesn t hurt all the times, it hurts sometimes when I sit without any thing to support my upper back. I have had this for about 6 days now.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the upper back could be due to an injury or a muscle spasm in the area. It usually takes 2-3 weeks for such soft tissue injuries to heal. You need to provide adequate rest to the area with regular hot fomentation and mild pain killers.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
