Bruise In The Head With Indent After Being Hit By The Car Trunk, Painful, Soreness. Matter Of Concern?

Last Thursday a trunk lid blew shut as I was leaning in a car trunk and hit the top right side of my head. Initially it was a bump, now it s an indent and it s still painful to touch. Over the weekend even moving my eyebrows caused soreness where I was hit. Aside from a headache , I really didn t have any other symptoms of a concussion . Is this something to worry about.

Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Headache is common in this situation and does not signify anything, if there are no associated symptoms.
Indentation at the site of injury is likely due to depressed fracture. Internal injury - like haematoma - may not manifest for several days.
Even if the chances of finding a problem are remote, It is better to have a CT scan and be sure in such situation.

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
