Bronchitis, Severe Anemia, Sore Throat, Rib Cage Pain. Why Is Mucus Green?
Hello Welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding sore throat, severe anaemia, cough and green mucus in expectoration. After thinking about your symptoms and co-relating them with possible pathology it appears as you are having acute respiratory tract infection involving both upper and lower respiratory tracts. Presence of green sputum favors pseudomonas infection. For confirmation of diagnosis and treatment point of view you should do- 1- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab. 2- X-Ray chest. 3- X-Ray paranasal sinuses. Beside this thorough clinical examination and their co-relation with inferences of investigations , real facts for diagnosis will be evident, thus one may establish the diagnosis that may be manage accordingly.
