Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Based on the information provided , you might well be suffering from Deviated Nasal Septum ( DNS).

In case of DNS, one nostril will be narrow and cause difficulty in breathing and other nostril is roomy and cause you dryness and soreness as you have been complaining off.

AS you have mentioned that it has been since childhood , it could be due to an injury or due to excessive septal growth.

Septorhinoplasty is a surgical procedure required to treat your condition. If you dont want surgery , you can use decongestant drops. But , they give you only symptomatic relief . I would recommend you to go for surgery.

Wish you a healthy Life.
