I have a family person suffering from breathing congestion (which is quite painful), she even faints for a hour or two after this. she has been getting such attacks from about a month. she is consulting from jolly grant hospital in dehradun, but no signs of relief.
last night she also complained about problem in her vision. I don't understand what's happening to her.

hello dear
thanks for your query at HCM
breathing difficulty with syncopal attack over month can be due to
1 respiratory problems
2 cardiac valve abnormality like stenosis
3 functional causes
get her completely examined by doctor for other signs and symptoms associated .
she has to be properly evaluated for further management,
intially go for chest x ray and ecg taht will rule out any major pathology in chest . if they come to be normal other investigation have to becarried out based on patients symptomatology.
regards
