Hello ma'am and welcome.

The reason why abstainence is advised for a while after delivery is because the reproductive system is working on returning back to its pre-partum state.

Having intercourse might have just caused slight disturbance to this process, but this is completely normal. Do not discontinue your sexual activity as 7 months is a sufficient amount of time. Your reproductive system is just getting used to intercourse once again. Do not worry, this is normal.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
