Breastfed Baby Passes Small Amount Of Frequent Stools. Normal?

My baby boy is 18 days old and under breast feed. From last 2-3 days he passes too many stools but the stool are very small amount. He also twist his body hard when he passes the stool. His urination is normal and not pale. Is this normal ? because it doesn t look like constipation or diarrhea . He passes 2-3 normal stool every day with good quantity. Stools are always in yellow color

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query,
This is a normal behavior in breast fed babies, sometimes there is increased gastrocolic reflex and babies pass frequent stools ,
Most important thing is to observe his activity, feeding ,amount of urine passed.and in case he appears lethargic.take him to pediatrician.

Wishing your baby good health
God bless
