Breast Lump, Hard, Painful During Periods. Cancer?
Hi....im 30 yrs old...mom of 3 boys...11 yr old twins n a 9 yr old. I found a grape sized lump in my left breast about a year ago. Im going nxt month to have it checked. Its kind of hard but doesnt seem rooted to the breast. It does cause some pain during my menstrual cycle . It also does get smaller but never bigger than the original size. I researched lumps n read that this type of lump would b considered a cyst or another type...i cant remember the name but i no it starts with an n . Im just wondering if its something i should b worried about. My mom did have breast cancer n has been fine for 20 yrs now...after a mastectomy . I no im young n i do consume a ton of caffeine. Im going to have it checked but im jst curious is it something that i should b really scared of?
Hi Denise welcome to H.C.M.Forum. At present it is only a cyst and need not be worried. as you have already decided to see the doctor it is good decission. it may remain as it is, or may enlarge at any time. if enlarges, tender, and adhesive to tissues it is alarming. other wise also better to have checkups every year. thank you.
