OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Breast pain can be physiological and pathological.
Physiological breast pain can be seen during premenstrual phase.
Pathological breast pain can be usually seen during lactation.
In lactating women, periductal inflammation etc can sometimes cause breast pain.
Sometimes masses of the breast can occur and that can present with pain.
So you once consult gynecologist or general surgeon and get examined.
If they recommends go for sonomammogram and biopsy from the mass.
By examination and these investigations the exact cause for the problem can be identified and treated.
Meanwhile you can take analgesics and anti - inflammatory drugs to relieve the symptoms.
Take care.
