Brachymetatarsia surgery, one stage correction procedure, time to cure

Hi. i just recently had surgery for brachymetatarsia. it is a the shortening of the metatarsal bone in your foot . i had the one stage correction procedure. it has been since six weeks since i have had the surgery and in a few days i will going from a cast to a boot. i just wanted to ask how long do you think it will be until i can go back to wearing regular shoes?
