Bowel prep. Take sweet tea with magnesium citrate?

Getting ready to do bowel prep...UGH!! Never done this before and it doesn t sound fun. The store only had the lemon flavor and I have to drink 10ooz of this liquid the day before my surgery. What else can I drink with it to help it not taste so bad? Also do I have to drink it all in one 1/2 sitting or can I drink it throughout the day? I am a HUGE sweet tea lover. Could I slowly drink that with the magnesium citrate? Thank you

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Bowel preparation requires complete clear evacuation of your bowel to avoid any problem like infection during surgery and for clear surgery. You need to take whole amount but can take break with sweat tea. Finish it in max 2 hour as the entire amount is required to act completely and properly. Follow your doctor advice as this is for one time and you won't take regularly. . Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.
