Body Jerking Uncontrollably, Twitching In The Corner Of Mouth, Eyebrow. Numbness, Drooping In One Side Of Face. Mini Stroke?

My body jerks uncontrollably mainly at bedtime. The corner of my mouth twitches and eyebrow uncontrollably at times. I am sitting and my legs feel like they are restless and crawling. I have an up coming appointment for all the spider & varicose veins on my legs and feet. Several months ago, after my psychiatrist sent me to the hospital because she felt I was having a mini stroke. The CT scan showed nothing. These symptoms started after this time and a side of my face is numb to the touch and slightly droops

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

From the details mentioned,i suspect you are c/o paralysis of facial nerve.

I would advice you to get a thorough clinical evaluation by an oral surgeon as well as neurologist.

Analgesics along with muscle relaxants has to be administered to relieve pain.

Avoid heavy loads on face or mouth.

Avoid mouth opening too widely.

Take care.
