Blood Traces Found In Urine. Any Cause Of Concern ?

Had a physical last week. Today the doctor reviewed the blood work with me and mentioned that there was trace amount of blood found in the urine. (1-2) under microscope. No WBC's or mucous. He said this was totally normal and I shouldn't be concerned. However, everything I've read has said that any amount of blood in the urine is cause for concern.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,

In the absence of any clinically significant symptoms, presence of 1-2 red blood cells in urine is completely normal finding.
Your Doctor is correct regarding the fact.
Kindly do no get concerned about it.
However, if you have any symptoms like fever, pain in the lower abdomen, burning sensation while passing urine, then you need to consult an Urologist for proper clinical examination & further management.

Take care.
