Blood Pressure Patient Advised To Take Full Revolol. Will There Be Any Side Effect?
hi....my mom is a bp pt...she was adviced to take half revolol a day....but she used to not get any relief with that half tab......she used to complain about lack of sleep and headpain.....she is now asked to take 1full revolol instead of hald tab...i would like to know if there are any side effects to it..?

First of all let me tell you that Revolol tab is used to control blood pressure. In most of the patients we are giving it upto 100mg..although the maximum dose varies depending on patients other Co-morbidity.
If your doctor has told you to take full dose of Revolol then it is because your mother's blood pressure was remaining high in spite of half dosage. Headache and decreased sleep may be due to high blood pressure. So don't worry.. Keep faith on your doctor and continue full tab..
¤ regarding the side effects - weakness, decreased heart rate,low blood pressure, exacerbation of asthma symptoms may occur.. Otherwise it's safe drug and good antihypertensive drug.
