Blood In Semen And Urine, No Pain Or Discomfort While Urinating. Prostrate Examination Normal. Causes?

I have had the following symptoms....blood in semen (which has since cleared up), urine tested had a small amount of blood too (not visible to the naked eye though). I have had a prostate examination that appeared normal....No pain or discomfort when urinating, no increased frequency of urination . Do you have any idea what this could be?

Hi dt6mpo,

This can be some sort of mild infection which may be just causing few RBCs to come into the urinary tract. Since you are desrcibing that no pain or nay other sign of increased frequency is not there, I hope you are also not having any fever.
This infection can be some non bacterial infection and so the typical sign and symptom of UTI is not there.
I would suggest you to have an Urine culture test for infection which include testing for fungal infection along with bacterial infection and if possible try to have investigation for parasite infestation also.
In the mean time try to maintain your hydration and cleanness.
Thanks and take care.
