Blood In Gum. Could It Be A Lack Of A Certain Vitamin ?
I have noticed that my 19 year daughter is waking up in the morning (only morning) with blood on her front teeth, her gums do not hurt her or bleed when she brushes or floss, we do not have dental insurance as of yet. Could it be a lack of a certain vitamin, this started about a month ago but it is also not every night it kind of comes and go. thank you

hi.the most common cause of gum bleeding is accumulation of plaque and calculus around the tooth.these deposits leads to gingival inflammation, which may bleed sometimes.visit ur dentist and go for oral prophylaxis.gum swelling and bleeding may be seen due to vitamin c deficiency.after oral prophylaxis, take vitamin c tablets.wish u good health
hello ,
vitamin k and vitamin c deficiency can cause bleeding gums. even gingivitis can cause bleeding gums. its better to get a scaling done and get expert advice from the dentist. brush twice daily and visit denist for a checkup once in every 6 months. take care.
Hi, it could be a vitamin C deficiency due to which the gums bleed. But I would advise you to consult a dentist first. Presence of calculus sometimes causes bleeding from the gums at night with no other symptoms. Please take a dentist's advise. Take care!
