Blood and lime in stools

What does it mean typically when you have blood and lime in your stools . Thats what a dr. told my sister

Blood in the stools along with lime can be due to many causes.
It may be due to ulcers, fragile veins, infections with bacteria or parasite in the gut are prominent possibilities.
Sometimes eroded arteries or malignancies can also causes similar symptoms.
Ideally you should get a complete blood counts, ESR and stool for ova and cyst should be checked.
