Blocked Left Nostril, Mucus In Throat, Mild Cough, Headache. Treatment For Symptoms?

Hi Doc I am xxxxx. my left nostril usually seems blocked and I feel a kind of mucus in same side throat and nostril. I have a mild cough usually. I feel head ache ( Migraine ). my back at one place, sometimes. And sometimes the felling, I mentioned change to right side of my body. Recently I feel so much head ace after i weak up from sleep. I saw a doc before and x-ray , but he can t identify any problem what s wrong with me, hope some one help.

Thanks for writing your query.

I hope the X-Ray you have mentioned is the X-Ray PNS.
Your symptoms are suggestive of nasal congestion. You should get yourself examined by an ENT specialist to investigate the cause of one sided nasal blockage-whether it is by mucus or by some growth of the nasal tissue.

Also get a culture/senstivity done of your nasal discharge.

Steam inhalation will be helpful in clearing the mucus from the nasal passage.
Antihistamininc like Cetrizine along with a decongestant like Phenylepherine will be helpful in decreasing your symptoms.
Paracetamol for mild pain or Ibuprofen for severe pain along with an antacid can be taken for relief from pain.
Antibiotic if needed, can be added according to the reports of the investigation.
Any medicine to be taken under medical supervision only.
