Blisters In The Buttocks Crack. Itchy, Painful. Not STD. What Could It Be?

I am M, 29yo. For 5 days I have had some small (less than 1/4 inch) purple blister-type bumps in my upper buttocks crack (not at the tailbone). Do not seem to be spreading, but initially itchy, becoming more painful with sitting. Currently just using Gold Bond to try to keep the area cooler and drier. There is no activity for concern of STD .

hello there.. Good evening..from what you describe it does look like herpes infection over the buttock dermatome. it will eventually heal but do consult a dermatologist for the right treatment cause it can leave pain even after healing. do let us know for further queries.
