Bleeding With Heavy Clots After Taking Novex DS After Diagnosing Simple Cystic Hyperplasia. How To Stop It ?

Dear Dr. Rhea Chanda, Good Morning, I'm 46 years. I had periods after a gap of 6 months. They continued for over a month. I went to Gynacologist, who after investigation recommended DNC, endometrium biopsy. The DNC was performed last week. Antibiotics and other medicines given. For a week the bleeding remained very low or almost nil. Biopsy report finding is H and E sections studied which show Histopathological features suggestive of Simple Cystic Hyperplasia. Dr recommended Novex DS twice a week. I took the first dose only yesterday. After having it, there was slight spot in the evening. And my ghosh, since morning 5 am, it has bleeding heavily................huge clots at least three times upto 6.45 am. I've lot of pain too. Oh God, pl. help me how do I stop the bleeding. Thanks for the query.
Novexds contains ormeloxifene.
It is selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Used to treat the dysfunctional uterine bleeding sometimes.
But as you got severe bleeding after taking the drug and according to your age better to change the treatment.
With your doctor's advice, you can take injections and tablets of anti fibrinolytic drugs to control the bleeding.
Then you can take progesterone tablets with your doctor's advice to stop the bleeding and to prevent recurrence.
By using the progesterone tablets for few months, possibly your problem can get controlled.
