Bleeding While Farting, Passing Stools. Gaseous, Cramps. Reason?

I farted and then there was blood that came out on my underwear. I couldn t tell if it was bright or dark. When I went to the bathroom the next morning there was dark blood that came out while I farted and pooped. The poop seemed normal but it took 2 tries to flush down the blood. It was like it wouldn t mix in with the water. I have been very gassy these past couple of months and I have had cramps for a couple weeks now.

Hello Good Evening,

This is serious illness as per your description, although hemorrhoids can cause spontaneous and chronic bleeding but any other bleeding source also can be found.

So you have to go to a surgeon for hemorrhoids diagnosis by Per Rectal and Proctoscopy examination to stop the further loss of any bleeding, moreover should be gone over a diagnostic Colonoscopy to search a any other active source of bleeding.

This chronic bleeding can cause severe anemia, which itself can cause severe weakness and many other serious symptoms.

So please do not take it lightly, go for proper evaluation and treatment (Blood transfusion may be needed) and surgery.
