Hi! I am on my period it started today. Normally my first day is extremely heavy so I always start out using an extra super tampon. I put a extra super tampon in this morning and when I replaced it two hours later it was soaked with blood which was normal. I put a second one in, but it hurt so I took it out right away because I thought I put it in wrong I immediately tried to put a new one in and that was painful too so I took it out and put a pad on instead. I had the same pad on all day (8 hours) since I put it on and there is only one drop of blood on it. The only time blood comes out is when I pee. When I've peed the last two times there was a long flow of blood that lasted as long as my stream of pee. This is not normal for me usually if I wear a pad on my first day of my period I have to change it every 2-3 hours. On top of the fact that blood only comes out when I pee I'm also having really bad cramps. Any idea what the problem is? Should I go to the emergency room?
