Bleeding In Between Periods With Bloating And Gurgling In Stomach

Hi Im 43 and have had problems with my periods bleeding in between for 6 months then regular. `my periods have stopped since January. I feel bloated and heavy in my stomach with gurgling wind. I had an ultra sound scan last year which identified a thickened endometrial lining. I have been booked in for a coil next week. I have done 2 pregnancy tests which are negative, haven t had intercourse since last August. Feel worried and paranoid now wondering whats wrong. I had a myomectomy when I was 28 for an large fibroid. Please could you advise me.

Hello dear, in my opinion you have entered your perimenopausal period and your menopause is likely to set in. But as your endometrial lining is thick so you need get tested for that. Best modality in today's world is ' hysteroscopic fraction all curettage' to rule out endometrial cancer. Consult your gynecologist for further management. Take care and all the best.
