Bleeding Heavily With Large Clots, Miscarriage Not Complete. Will Left Over Product Clear By Itself?

hi, i had a miscarriage recently, i started bleeding when i was 12 weeks pregnant, had a scan which showed the heart beat had stopped at 6 weeks 3 days. i was told that as i had already started to miscarry naturally, to carry on that way. 1 week later i went to have an internal scan to see if it was complete, it wasnt, so i had to go back 2 weeks later to check again. this time the doctor said it was a complete miscarriage. now, 1 week on from then, im still bleeding, but today have started bleeding really heavy again with large clots...could the scan have been wrong? and if so, will it clear any left over product by itself?

Hi Naomi
Heavy bleeding with large clots is not normal.
there may be possibility of retained products inside uterus.
So consult your gynaecologist & go for a repeat scan.
All the Best
