Hi Yesterday I was diagnosed with a fungus, although the doctor did not explain anything about it. I had a skin tag that blackened on top, then lost the blackened part, and the rest remained. Afterward, a red rash along with a solid red area appeared, and everything itched badly. Over the weekend, the remaining part of the skin tag began to bleed, and it, too began to darken. I called the dermatologist but won t be able to see her until February. So I called my family doctor and he is the one who diagnosed it as a fungus. He first removed the remaining part of the skin tag, and sent me home with an Rx. any comments?
