Bitten By Dog, Applied Antibacterial Ointment, Have Wound, Dog Vaccinated. Am I Safe From Dog's Rabies?

I was bitten by a dog 22 hrs ago and i didnt go to a doctor for medical help. I just cleaned the wound with anticeptic swab and applied antibacterial ointment. The pajama that i was wearing was not torn but i have wound (i wonder how did it happened since my pajama was not torn and i got the wound). The owner said the dog has a complete vaccine shots. Am i safe from the dog s rabies?

Hi. First of all ask for the report or cards of vaccination being done for the dog. If well timed vaccinated , there is nothing to worry about. It is still advisable to go few shots of vaccination for yourself as rabies has no treatment.
