Bitten By A Dog, Hard Lump On Skin, Infection In Lymph Nodes. Is It Due To The Bite?

I was bitten by my dog about 9 months ago he did not puncture my skin but did scratch it open but now after all this time I still have a hard lump under my skin. What could it be? I went to the hospital because shortly after the dog bite I developed an infection in my lymph nodes (in my neck) the Dr. Said it was most likely due to the dog bite.

hi hard lump on the skin associated with enlarged lymph nodes indicates infectious etiology.the scratch marks might have changed to lump with secondary infection.confirm whether he has taken antirabies vaccine or not.then see for other symptoms like hydrophobia .the lump can be treated by a broad spectrum antibiotic and a good antiinflammatory agent like chymoral forte and combiflame and apply t-bact ointment .if not cured go for surgery to remove the lump
